What is “PROTECT PIN” and when is it used?

A "PROTECT PIN" is the pin number used to access your Vodafone Protect services. Your Protect Pin is used when entering the application, using the Protect SMS commands and for unlocking your phone.

You are required to register an account before Vodafone Protect is available for use. During registration, you are asked to create or login to an existing Protect Account and choose a 6 digit numerical PIN. A working internet connection is required to complete registration on the phone and it is advisable that you create a PIN that is only recognisable to you and not to use standard sequencing.
