How does Vodafone at Home billing work?

We charge for our service in advance, which means that your bill will include charges for the next month. You'll only be charged for your bundle from the date all your bundle services are available. However, your telephone line rental charges will start from the date your telephone line is activated.

You'll be charged in advance for the full billing period ahead, starting from the first day of the month. For example, if you your billing date is the 5th of the month, you'll see a full month charge in advance from the 1st to the last day of the month.

Charges for recurring items include your phone and broadband bundle, call add-ons, extra services such as HomeView or PC Protect etc.. The total cost of any calls you made in the previous month will be displayed on the bill as a usage charge. Below is an example of the typical dates involved in a billing period.

  • Bill is issued on the 5th January
  • Recurring charges from 1st – 31st January
  • Usage charges from 1st – 31st December
  • Payment is due on 19th January (14 days after the bill was issued)

If you've signed up to a new product part way through your billing period your bill may be higher than you expect. This is because it will include a charge from the date the new service was started until the date of your last bill, as well as in advance for the next month.

You can view your bill online whenever you need to at www.vodafone.ie/athomeselfcare.
