Why did My Vodafone Home bill date change to the 8th of the month?

Why did my bill date change to the 8th of the month?

What is the change?

Vodafone is changing your account bill-date from the 5th day to the 8th day of every month in order to move to 14 day direct debit payment terms, which is standard industry practise and we are aligning our fixed and mobile payment processes. This change will come into effect from March 2015.

What does this mean for me?

This simply means that your account bill-date is changing from the 5th day to the 8th day of every month from March 2015. This is simply a change to the date displayed on the bill and will not affect the period for which you will be billed or when you will receive your bill. The date that your monthly payment is due for collection will be 7 days earlier.

What do I need to do to prepare for this change?

You do not need to make any changes to your account in preparation for this change. You will simply notice a change in the account bill-date on your March bill

Does this change the terms of my contract?

There is no change to your contract as it does not impact on the terms and conditions of your contract.
