What do I need to get multiline voice & broadband?

Multiline line rental explained

No matter how many lines your office needs, we can set up a network that accommodates the number of calls your office actually makes. And we take care of it all in the background: you don't have to change your number and won't notice any change in service.

What are PSTN and ISDN lines?

A PSTN line rental is one channel that that takes one call at a time - perfect if your office is on the small side. With a PSTN line rental, you can also get fixed broadband, which you can share with others on the premises using a wireless router. To get the internet, you will need a broadband add on.

An ISDN basic line rental contains 2 channels, each take many calls at a time and is great if much of your business is done over the phone and you're small or medium sized office.

An ISDN fractional line rental contains between 16 and 30 channels, which take a heavy amount of call traffic. It's perfect for you if you want to lower communication costs for your office - it's a great way to centralise your calls and put them all on one price plan.

An ISDN primary line rental contains 30 channels and takes a substantial amount of call traffic. Like the fractional line rental, it's an affordable way to centralise your calls and put them all on one price plan, lowering your costs significantly. This line is perfect for large businesses who need a plan to accommodate heavy phone traffic.

You can purchase any broadband or voice add ons with an ISDN line, or get one of these on their own.

Multiline broadband explained

To get fixed broadband you need a PSTN line, and you can get one broadband package per PSTN line. If you need more broadband allowance, you will need to get another PSTN line. Once you've chosen your package, we'll connect you for free.

Bundle any of these broadband packages with our phone lines or voice add ons, or get one of these on their own.

Multiline voice add ons explained

Voice add ons are a great way of saving money on calls. Without a voice add on, you are charged as per the standard call rates.

How many voice add ons can I buy per line?

You can only buy one voice add on per line. If you need more, you would have to get more PSTN/ISDN lines.

The add ons are shared across all lines and channels on the account. If you have 2 bundles, everyone shares the first bundle minutes and then the second one will kick in. Any minutes not used will not be carried over to the next month. When the add on minutes run out, you are then charged as per the standard call rates.
