Vodafone Help Login terms and conditions.

1. Services

Vodafone Ireland Limited provides the Help Login service of remotely assisting you (the “Services”) in accordance with the terms and conditions as stipulated hereunder and Vodafone may, at its sole discretion, modify, add or remove the Services or any feature of the Services from time to time without prior notice to you. Vodafone will use reasonable endeavours to notify you where reasonably possible.
Vodafone maintains reasonable technical safeguards to protect the security of your data in the course of providing the Services. However, Vodafone does not warrant that your use of the Services is risk-free.
Vodafone does not warrant the security and/or confidentiality of your data against any interception or access and will not be responsible for any theft, illegal activity or other unauthorized acts resulting in damage to you and/or your computer and your smart device, data or other property as a result of your use of the Services.
You acknowledge and agree that in the course of the provision of the Services, Vodafone and its third party supplier LogMeIn ("Supplier") may be required to reproduce and/or otherwise use data received from your computer and your smart device and you hereby grant Vodafone a royalty free, irrevocable, unlimited license to do so.

2. Customer responsibility

You understand and agree that it is your responsibility to back up the data, software, information or other files stored on your computer and your smart device disk and/or drives to prevent loss or corruption of information or data prior to permitting Vodafone to access your computer and your smart device. You agree to remain beside your computer and your smart device at all times while Vodafone is providing the Services. If you leave your computer and your smart device at any time during the provision of the Services, you must notify Vodafone of the same and terminate the Services.
As a condition for the use of the Services, you acknowledge that you are responsible for and have at all times during the provision of the Services installed all necessary virus protection software on your computer and your smart device to avoid any loss/corruption of data, computer and your smart device files and hard drive as a result of spyware or any computer and your smart device viruses that may result in the deletion/corruption of data.

3. Disclaimer

You acknowledge that Vodafone's ability to access your computer and your smart device remotely is made possible via the Internet (through an Internet Service Provider) which you are responsible for maintaining at all times and through the Supplier.
You expressly agree and understand that the use of the Services is at your sole risk. Vodafone does not make any warranty, express or implied, including without limitation any implied warranty, fitness for a particular purpose, regarding the actions or omissions of third parties and services provided by third parties or claims that the Services do not infringe the rights of third parties, relating to the use or performance of the Services or related technology. Vodafone and the Supplier shall not be liable for any injury or damage to you or any persons using the Services, including, but not limited to, personal injury or property damage, loss of profit, loss of data, loss of use or other special, incidental or consequential damages, arising out of the use or performance of the Services.

4. Release of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you hereby release Vodafone from any and all liability arising from or related to the use of the Services and related technology.

5. Indemnification

You are responsible for all activities occurring in connection with your use of the Services. You hereby agree to defend, indemnify and hold Vodafone and its staff harmless from and against any and all liabilities, claims and costs incurred in connection with any demand, claims, action, suit or loss arising, directly or indirectly, as a result of any breach by you of these terms and conditions or your use of the Services.

6. Proprietary rights

Vodafone retains all proprietary rights in and to the Services and the use thereof including without limitation the materials located on and linked to this Web Site, including without limitation text, data, documents, diagrams, trademarks and logos associated or displayed with the Services ("Contents"). All rights, title and interest in and to the Contents are owned and controlled by Vodafone.

7. Data protection

Vodafone and its group companies may use your information to keep to Vodafone’s legal requirements and to:

  • manage the Services Vodafone offers under these terms and conditions;
  • monitor the quality and security of the network and test and maintain Vodafone’s IT systems;
  • protect Vodafone and the Vodafone brand from activities that might cause loss or damage;
  • analyse and improve products and services; and

Vodafone may monitor or record screen sessions for Vodafone’s business purposes such as to:

  • improve customer service;
  • carry out quality-control exercise;
  • prevent unauthorised use of Vodafone’s telecommunications system; and
  • make sure Vodafone has effective systems in place to prevent or detect crime.

8. Termination

Either Party can terminate these terms and conditions at any time on giving 30 days’ notice.

9. Controlling law and jurisdiction

These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Ireland and the Irish courts shall have jurisdiction.
